Celestial Love From Above
by Reeni Mederos
As I was studying and meditating on the Lord this morning, all of a sudden He arrests my attention and awareness. I was immediately taken into a vision, or I immediately entered into what looked like the universe and or the cosmos. Don’t let this language freak you out. Let me just explain what I saw.
I saw the entire universe. The worlds, the stars, the galaxies, the celestial, the terrestrial, the atmosphere and what appeared to be an empty void of space and time which consists of past, present, and future. It was as if the Lord was taking me on tour. He was encouraging me just to observe and enjoy the ride. I saw myself above the earth gazing into the horizon of the universe and its magnificent beauty. But what I felt was most amazing. I felt the heart of God. The vast expanse is not empty at all. Even though it may look dark to the naked eye or in the pictures we see from Nasa, it is quite the opposite of empty space. It is filled with this transparent liquid substance and energy flow called “the love of God.” It is love camouflaged as dark matter but in reality, it is the love of God for you and me that is yet to be discovered, realized and made aware of. It is the mystery of the love of God almost as if it were suspended in mid-air just waiting to alight.
I could see the flow of the love of God streaming from His heart and swirling throughout all the universe and the cosmos. The Lord asked me a question. He said, “Do you know why I created all of this? Do you know the purpose and destiny of all that was created?” And while He was asking, I also understood the reason, the purpose and the destiny of such magnitude of the work of God’s hands. He simply said, “I created this for YOU.” I can’t tell you what overwhelming love and amazement I felt at that point. It was as if the love He reserved for me in that place of time and space, just all of a sudden flooded my entire being. I saw how extraordinary the whole creation is to God and how He made it all just for us.
God loves the angels and all the heavenly and earthly things He has created. But He died for only humankind through the work of the cross. God created us and loved us so that we could choose to love Him back out of our own free will. He went to great lengths to create this environment for us to live in and to interact and commune with Him. He created us to inhabit the natural and spirit world to be able to go back and forth through prayer and worship to love on Him and to be an influence in this natural realm to bring His love and heart to others.
“For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the LORD.” Habakkuk 2:14 NLT
The entire universe is filled with the love and glory of the Lord. So the next time you look up to the stars in the night sky, you may see a black backdrop, but know that it is not empty at all. It is filled with the amazing love of God that is full of mystery just waiting for you to explore. It is like a gravitational pull of invitation into His world. To see the universe and life itself from His perspective. It is a journey into the mystery of His heart where you will not only find Him, but He will reveal who you really are in Him. Once you see and realize who you really are, everything changes. You no longer see yourself as a struggling human being trying to get by in this world. He reveals to you the precious royal son or daughter that you are as He pours out His everlasting love upon you to draw you closer and closer to Him.
The universe itself is a call to divine romance. You hear His songs of love for you in the drawing of your heart to His. It is a sound already deep within you that is ever so faint like a whisper but becomes louder and louder as you turn into the sound of His love and heartbeat for you that is already within you. The only way you can miss that amazing love is if you don’t pay attention to it and if you push it away through neglect. Accept the divine invitation. Dive into the cosmos of His love for you that is humongous and bigger than the universe itself. The wonders of His person is endless. And when you visit Him there, write down what you see, feel, hear, taste and smell. Taste and see for yourselves that the Lord, He is good.
In His Love,
